Creativity Theory is a media production company that specializes in photography, videography, and editing services; but the name is more than just a brand label. It’s a life philosophy.

Most people compartmentalize the word “creativity” to be associated with things like art, invention, innovation, novelty, and so on. But we as human beings use creativity on a moment-to-moment basis, whether we do it consciously or not. We create our lives, our relationships with other people, the experience right in front of us, our internal and external reality, as well as our Self. And whether you believe that we create these things all on our own, or that instead we co-create with a higher power—be it God, the Universe, or the Collective Unconscious—we are still engaging in creativity.

We are all artists creatively collaborating on a shared reality.

Everything is Creativity.

MEET THE MAN BEHIND THE CAMERA

CAMERON SMITH

I am an artist, comedian, musician, filmmaker, and entrepreneur; and have been writing, directing, shooting, and editing videos since I was 11 years old. Most of my experience with media production has been more on the creative side—making funny videos, short films, feature films, documentaries, and music videos with my friends.

I attended college at the University of North Carolina in Wilmington where I graduated as a double major in Film Studies and Creative Writing. Between 2006 and 2018, I independently produced more than 300 different projects, adding up to well-over 100 hours of creative content—just for fun.

Along the way, I have taken on jobs helping others produce all kinds of more professional photo/video content—from headshots, portraits, modeling, and weddings, to real estate, business advertisements, educational videos, and more.

In 2022, I launched Creativity Theory, so that I could turn my passion into a career.
